In Enhance we have specifically selected ingredients to target memory and learning, such as Bacopa Monnieri (SynapsaTM) and Citicholine. Bacopa Monnieri has been shown to reliable improve both short and long term memory in healthy individuals as well as reverse age related memory decline. The Synapsa brand is a patented extract of Bacopa Monnieri which avoids the often motivation killing effects of this compound while still retaining the memory enhancement effects.

Citicholine is a patented, highly bioavailable form of dietary choline which can support focus and memory. Choline is the precursor to acetylcholine, one of the key neurotransmitter responsible for neural signalling. Maintaining the correct levels of acetylcholine is essential for sustained focus and memory formation in cognitively demanding situations.

To assist with memory and learning we have targeted the production of the neurotrophins Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) by including Lions mane mushroom and Neurofactor (a unique form of whole coffee fruit extract). Both of these compounds have been clinical shown to increase levels of these neurotrophins. These neurotrophins are proteins responsible for the repair, function and growth of neurons, or whats known as the process of “neurogenesis”. This helps to more readily make physical changes to your brain as you learn and adapt to stimuli.

We have included B-vitamins and Cellcharge (Fulvic mineral supplement) to support micro nutrient utilisation and plug any nutritional holes that may be a cause for reduced brain function.

Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid and key component of cell membranes. It plays an important role in cell signalling, and is required for healthy nerve cell membranes and myelin (the fatty sheath that surrounds and protects neurons, providing insulation and allowing electrical impulses to travel between them). Phosphatidylserine plays a huge role in staving off  neurodegeneration, and supporting short term and long term memory formation.

Acteolin is a proprietary acteoside extracted from Osmanthus fragrans flower.  Studies have shown that this extract is able to support cognitive function by reducing β-amyloid peptide (Aβ) accumulation and abnormal tau protein phosphorylation which are hallmarks of cognitive decline in conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
